Want to Vote Early? Request Ballot Friday

Deadline to request early vote-by-mail ballot is 5 p.m.

Pima County Recorder's website spotlight Pima County Recorder's website, where voters can request an early ballot, check their ballot status, find polling locations.

Today at 5 p.m. is the last day to request an early ballot for Arizona’s primary election.

People on the permanent early voting list should already have received their ballots.

Some races could be decided in the primary, including several justice of the peace and constable seats, and the countywide race for assessor. Candidates for the Legislature and the Board of Supervisors are on the primary ballots, plus those running for U.S. Congress and Senate.

The two fastest ways to request one are to call the recorder’s office at 520-724-4330, or to go online and click “request early ballot”from the recorder’s website.

About 80,000 Pima County residents have already voted and sent their ballots back to the recorder’s office. The early ballots will be counted after the polls close on primary election day, Aug. 30.
