The group has a multi-million dollar dream that would create a new pedestrian and bicycle lane around what was once an open pit copper mine. The goal is to increase connectivity, and add healthier and more affordable options for people to get around.

It’s a chance to sample and shop from a range of local vendors, each offering a variety of meatless and dairy-free food options in a community building environment. Hernandez is also involved with an organization called Death Free Foodie.

Tucson Vegan Night Market sign The Tucson Vegan Night Market will be held Saturday June 1st from 6-10 p.m.at the Rillito Park Race Track.
