Researchers are finding the best record for climate change comes from the rings inside pine trees. University of Arizona scientist Valerie Trouet describes why some trees are more accurate than others when looking back at significant moments in Earth’s history.

Valerie Trouet spoke with Leslie Tolbert, Ph. D. Regent’s professor emerita in Neuroscience at the University of Arizona.
