An evening with Maria Hinojosa: Crossing Borders and Building Futures


The University of Arizona Confluencenter for Creative Inquiry will be hosting speaker Maria Hinojosa as part of the Fronteridades Lecture Series for a lecture open to the public on representation in the media. Hinojosa will be speaking on the need for representation in the media, sharing her personal experience as a reporter who was the first Latina in many newsrooms, and speaking about her recent book "Once I Was You." Wednesday, April 18 at 5:30pm.
