Early steps on immigration taken by President Biden indicate a willingness to provide a pathway to citizenship for DACA recipients. Some of his early actions involved introducing the U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021, an immigration bill that would give so-called dreamers and other immigrants who qualify the ability to obtain green cards and apply for citizenship after a certain number of years.
