Five years ago, Tawni Terman was in the throes of opioid addiction when she found out she was pregnant with her third child. She had lost her house, her marriage, and custody of her two other children to her addiction, but it was this pregnancy that prompted her to seek treatment. Today, she works at The Haven, an addiction treatment center for women, helping others find their way to recovery, and has regained custody of her children and found a new sense of purpose. This story documents her journey.
