Ernie and Joe: Crisis Cops

The David and Lura Lovell Foundation hosts a showing of Ernie and Joe: Crisis Cops on Thursday, January 16th from 3:00 to 5:30 pm at The Loft Cinema. This award-winning documentary explores how to transform encounters between law enforcement and people with mental illness from tragedy to healing, and is open to the public to attend. A panel follows with Director Jenifer McShane; one of the film’s subjects, Officer Joe Smarro; local law enforcement; and mental health experts. Tickets are available at the box office the day of the show.
