Fort Huachuca commander on the post’s mission

Maj. Gen. Laura Potter is the second woman to lead the military installation.

This week, Arizona 360 visited Fort Huachuca, the state’s largest military installation, to learn more about its mission and economic impact in Southern Arizona. The Army established it in 1877 and it has since developed into a hub for intelligence training and development. In July, Maj. Gen. Laura Potter assumed command of Fort Huachuca and the U.S. Army Intelligence Center of Excellence. She discussed the post’s role in helping the Army train the next generation of intelligence soldiers.
