Episode 207: University of Arizona optical sciences professor Kelly Simmons-Potter

The University of Arizona optical sciences professor Kelly Simmons-Potter is researching ways to make fiber optic materials tougher than the environment that surrounds them. She's studying fiber optic samples that were sent into earth orbit and back, to find out how resilient fiber materials must be to survive the harshest conditions imaginable.

Kelly Simmons-Potter spoke with Leslie Tolbert Ph.D Professor Emerita in Neuroscience at the University of Arizona.
