University of Arizona professor Bill McCallum wants to create a world where learners know, use and enjoy mathematics. He’s worked in both mathematics research and education and was one of the lead writers for the Common Core Standards in Mathematics. He offers guidance to K-12 educators about how to build a solid foundation in the subject for their students.

Bill McCallum spoke with Tim Swindle of the University of Arizona Lunar and Planetary Lab.
