University of Arizona professor David Glickenstein believes math skills are more essential than ever in modern life.
University of Arizona professor David Glickenstein focuses his research on calculus-based geometry, but he has taught a variety of math-related courses, ranging from algebra to calculus. Prof. Glickenstein says the sense of achievement that comes from learning math makes it rewarding and fun in the long term, and adds math skills remain essential with the everyday use of computer algorithms and other modern technology.
David Glickenstein spoke with Leslie Tolbert, PhD, Regents Professor Emerita in Neuroscience at the University of Arizona.
