AAA will offer its Tipsy Tow Service for New Year's Eve revelers who have too much to drink and cannot get themselves home safely.

“If you haven’t planned for a safe ride home or your plan falls through, feel free to call 1-800-AAA-HELP and request a Tipsy Tow. The tow truck driver will pick you and one passenger up,” said AAA Arizona's Valerie Vinyard.

A tow truck will head to the caller's location and take a vehicle and passengers up to 10 miles for free.

Vinyard said the truck will drop people off only at their home or a hotel where they are staying. It will not take people to another bar or party.

The Tipsy Tow program runs from 6 p.m. New Year's Eve until 6 a.m. New Year's Day. It is available to everyone, not just members of the auto club.
