Downtown Tucson Partnership Announces New CEO

Kathleen Eriksen comes to Tucson after running similar efforts in Michigan, California.

The Downtown Tucson Partnership has a new chief executive officer.

Kathleen Eriksen comes to the organization after running downtown redevelopment groups in Michigan and California. She will assume the post in October.

Eriksen spent 17 years working with redevelopment groups and consulting on revitalization projects. Prior to that, she was a restaurateur in Jackson, Mich.

She will be the fifth CEO in the Downtown Tucson Partnership's 18-year history.

Her predecessor, Michael Keith, announced his retirement in May after heading up the organization for six years.
