Listen:
Two new polls show Republican Doug Ducey slightly ahead Democrat Fred DuVal in the race for Arizona governor.
The poll from Restore Arizona’s Future PAC, which supports the Democratic candidate to replace Gov. Jan Brewer, showed Ducey leading DuVal by 2 points. That survey also showed Libertarian Barry Hess with 7 percent of the vote, and that 9 percent of voters are still undecided in the race.
Another poll from the Free Enterprise Club, which backed Ducey in the primary election, showed Ducey leading DuVal by 6 percent, but it has a 4.5 percent margin of error.
That survey also showed the race for attorney general is a statistical tie, but 16 percent of voters in that race are undecided. Republican Mark Brnovich is taking on Democrat Felecia Rotellini in November.
Early ballots are mailed on Oct. 9 and the general election is Nov. 4.
