Arizonan Pearl Harbor Survivor Remembers Tragedy

Lauren Bruner was a 21-year-old USS Arizona crew member when ship was bombed on Pearl Harbor.

Lauren Bruner was a 21-year-old crew member on the USS Arizona when the ship was bombed in Pearl Harbor.

Bruner and five other crew members were manning anti-aircraft guns above the Admiral’s bridge when the ship began to sink.

Seventy percent of Bruner's body was burnt.

While 333 USS Arizona crew members survived the attack, fewer than 10 are still alive today.
