Senate Concurrent Resolution 1007 -Term Limits

Senate Concurrent Resolution 1007 is a proposed constitutional amendment repealing term limits for members of the Legislature. Currently, no member of the Legislature can serve more than eight consecutive years in one chamber.

On March 1, 2010 the full Senate approved the measure without debate on an 18-11 vote.

  • Jorge Luis Garcia (D) – Yes
  • Linda Lopez (D)- Yes
  • Al Melvin (R) – No
