  • The University of Arizona’s annual Humanities Festival is underway, and this year’s theme "style" encompasses the different definitions and influences that can create self-image and identity. One presenting artist finds her identity through justice and storytelling in the form of art. Paola Rodriguez spoke with Favianna Rodriguez about her latest art installation at the school and how Favianna navigated her identity to understand the stories she wants to tell through her work.

You can catch Favianna's presentation "Desert Symphony: Mobilizing Creativity and Stories for Social Change" on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. at the UA Poetry Center. The event is open to the public, no ticket or prior registration is required!
