Find out about a program that gives at-risk high school youth the chance to build an electric car, and then drive it cross country.

When you think about electric cars, you might also think about the prosperity that one would need to own one. At first glance, there doesn't seem to be a connection between electric vehicles and at-risk, high school-aged kids. But MINDDRIVE, a Kansas City, Missouri-based non-profit, is making one.

Recently, Ben Nead talked to some of the organizers and mentors of MINDDRIVE, both by phone and in person, while a very special electric car was on its way through Arizona...
