AZ Gasoline Prices Continue to Fall

Pima County remains cheapest place to fill up, AAA reports

Gasoline prices around the state continue to decrease, slowly approaching last year's levels in some areas as a five-week trend continues.

The statewide average is $3.80 per gallon, according to AAA's daily fuel gauge report.

The report says Tucson gasoline remains the cheapest in the state, at $3.65 per gallon of regular unleaded, while Flagstaff keeps the top spot at $3.91 per gallon. Each is down one cent from last week, while Phoenix dropped three cents to an average of $3.79.

Nationwide, the average is $3.77. Alaska is the priciest at $4.34 per gallon, while Missouri enjoys the lowest $3.47 pump average.
