U.S. Representative addresses SB 1070, solar energy, health care and other topics.

Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords joins us on the weekly roundtable to discuss various issues that are important to residents of Southern Arizona.

Gabrielle Giffords represents Congressional District 8 in Southeast Arizona, the hotbed for some of the nation's important but controversial issues about border security, illegal immigration and related topics.

Despite state and national polls that indicate that most residents approve of Arizona's SB 1070, Rep. Giffords doesn't believe it's the way to go and explains why.

Rep. Giffords says Arizona is poised to be a leader in solar energy which could help reduce our dependence on foreign energy sources, create jobs in the state, and help protect the environment by reducing the risk of oil spills such as the major one that continues unabated in the Gulf of Mexico.
