Preview: Seeking Water from the Sun

Arizona Illustrated offers a glimpse of the AZPM documentary premiering April 22

On the vast Navajo Nation, water is sacred--and scarce. As many as 40 percent of residents must drive great distances to haul water to their homes, because their communities lack the infrastructure for running water.

The AZPM original documentary Seeking Water from the Sun ventures into university laboratories and across the Navajo reservation to explore the very human story of a very real need, and how one team of researchers hopes to address it.
