Twenty-two people are on the ballot for Arizona’s presidential preference election, but many including Jeb Bush, Lindsey Graham, George Pataki, and Martin O’Malley have suspended their campaigns.
Since their names are still on the ballot voters can vote for them, but Secretary of State Michele Reagan says those votes do not count.
“Basically you are just throwing your vote away,” said Reagan.
The names of candidates no longer running are still on the ballot because they suspended their campaigns after the ballots were printed.
Election Day is March 22.
