Filling out a ballot for the Arizona election.
With Election Day less than a month away, Pima County election officials are reminding residents that Tuesday, Oct. 10 is the last day to register to vote.
Three of the six Tucson city council positions are included in this election cycle, Wards 1, 2 and 4. Current Mayor of Tucson Regina Romero is also up for re-election.
Residents within the proposed boundaries of Vail are also eligible to vote in a special election that will decide whether Vail will be incorporated as its own town.
Proposition 413 will also appear on the ballot in November. If passed, the proposed measure could increase the salaries of the Mayor and Council for the first time since 1999.
The 2023 election is an all-vote-by-mail election, which means every registered voter will receive a ballot in the mail, regardless of their status on the Active Early Voting List.
However, Ballot Replacement Centers will be open on Election Day where voters can cast their ballot or drop a completed ballot off.
Those who still need to register to vote can do so at the Pima County Recorder’s Website or in person at their downtown office.
