Arizona exports rebounded strongly last year, increasing by more than $4 billion dollars following a dip in 2020.

The numbers for 2021 mean Arizona exports are nearing a full recovery — a further signal of the renewed strength in the state's economy.

In general, manufacturing exports increased by more than 20% reaching more than $20 billion.

Leading the way, semiconductors saw a more than 50 percent rise, the 4th highest in the nation.

Aerospace products, metal ores, electronic control and measuring instruments, and electrical components rounded out the state's top 5 exports.

Mexico and Canada ranked as Arizona’s largest export partners, with countries like Ireland, China, New Zealand, Colombia and Turkey all seeing sizable increases in exported goods over the last year.
